We check every upload by hand

A person looks at your file before it goes to print. If the resolution will not hold at 24 by 14 inches, or if the crop cuts something important, we contact you first. Nothing gets printed until you have seen what we plan to do.

Zoning, printed into your design

Zones are printed into your artwork, not laid over it, and they are free on every playmat.

• Commander, right handed. Graveyard and exile sit under your right hand.
• Commander, left handed. The same layout mirrored, so you never reach across your own board.
• Gundam. A layout built for the Gundam Card Game, with the zones that game actually uses.
• No zones. A clean surface when the artwork is the point.

The Commander layout covers your library, battlefield, lands, graveyard, exile, command zone, commander tax and life total. Your graveyard is the pile you touch most during a turn, so it belongs under your dominant hand.

Two sizes

• 24 by 14 inch. Standard tournament size, the mat most players use.
• 32 by 16 inch. Extra room for tokens, dice and a wider battlefield. Still a single player mat, not a full table mat.

Frequently asked questions

What file format should I upload?

JPG and PNG both work. PNG holds up better for artwork with sharp lines or text. If you have a layered PSD or a vector file, send that instead, it gives us the most to work with.

What if my image is too small?

A 24 by 14 inch mat at 300 DPI needs roughly 7200 by 4200 pixels. Send your file anyway if it is smaller. Some images hold up better than the numbers suggest, and we will tell you before we print.

Can I use official card art?

No. We cannot print trademarked or copyrighted work, so official card art, game logos and screenshots are out. Fan art is fine if you made it or have permission from the artist.

Which zone layout should I pick?

Choose the Commander layout that matches your dominant hand. Right handed suits most players. If you play the Gundam Card Game, pick the Gundam layout instead. Prefer your artwork uninterrupted? Order without zones.

How long does it take?

Custom playmats take up to three extra days for the design check, then ship from your own country. You will get a delivery estimate at checkout.
