Design your own custom playmat and we print it, check it and ship it from your own country. Upload your artwork, pick a size, and add Commander or Gundam zoning at no extra cost. Every custom MTG playmat comes with stitched edges, a non slip base and HD print that will not fade.
We check every upload by hand
A person looks at your file before it goes to print. If the resolution will not hold at 24 by 14 inches, or if the crop cuts something important, we contact you first. Nothing gets printed until you have seen what we plan to do.
Not sure your file is good enough? Upload it anyway. We will tell you honestly whether it works at full size.
Zoning, printed into your design
Zones are printed into your artwork, not laid over it, and they are free on every playmat.
- Commander, right handed. Graveyard and exile sit under your right hand.
- Commander, left handed. The same layout mirrored, so you never reach across your own board.
- Gundam. A layout built for the Gundam Card Game, with the zones that game actually uses.
- No zones. A clean surface when the artwork is the point.
The Commander layout covers your library, battlefield, lands, graveyard, exile, command zone, commander tax and life total. Your graveyard is the pile you touch most during a turn, so it belongs under your dominant hand.
Two sizes
- 24 by 14 inch. Standard tournament size, the mat most players use.
- 32 by 16 inch. Extra room for tokens, dice and a wider battlefield. Still a single player mat, not a full table mat.

Frequently asked questions
What file format should I upload?
JPG and PNG both work. PNG holds up better for artwork with sharp lines or text. If you have a layered PSD or a vector file, send that instead, it gives us the most to work with.
What if my image is too small?
A 24 by 14 inch mat at 300 DPI needs roughly 7200 by 4200 pixels. Send your file anyway if it is smaller. We can upscale your image if needed. Some images hold up better than the numbers suggest, and we will tell you before we print.
Which zone layout should I pick?
Choose the Commander layout that matches your dominant hand. Right handed suits most players. If you play the Gundam Card Game, pick the Gundam layout instead. Prefer your artwork uninterrupted? Order without zones.
How long does it take?
- Design check. Usually same day. Most files are good to go as they are, and if yours needs a little help we upscale it ourselves.
- Printing and dispatch. 3 working days.
- Delivery in the USA. 4 to 8 working days.
Most custom playmats arrive within 7 to 11 working days. We only email you if something genuinely needs your input, which is rare.

The playmat looks as good as I'd hoped. I ordered the oversized one, and will use it when playing with my son, nephew and friends. I am afraid it will crowd people out down at the local shop. But stitched and thick, just what I wanted.

Shipping was fast, material is wonderful to play on, the stitched edges are awesome! Art is very clear and looks wonderful!
Only complaint I have is that the play surface seems to catch the edges of my Dragon Sleeves more than expected, not sure if this is the sleeves or the play mat surface though.

The product was very well made and the custom picture looked amazing. Im very pleased with my purchase and would order from them again, my only issue was just how long it took to arrive, but im not disappointed because a lot of other reviews i read said the same thing so i was prepared to wait and it was well worth it. Literally amazing!! The process seemed *too* simple, yet my mat was amazing! I had drawn something as a gift and worried the finer details might get muddled in the print, but they're clear as day!

I absolutely fell in love with the playmat put together. I had some doubt as to how exactly you can take a photo or image and place it on a mat. Add the zones too makes it much better. All in all.👍!!

How do you ensure print quality for the designs?
Each mat is printed using professional-grade equipment with high-resolution files. We perform quality checks before shipping and only use premium materials that showcase our exclusive artwork perfectly.
Can I clean the playmat easily after a game night?
Yes! Use warm water and dish soap to clean spots off your pad. It's not necessary to soak the whole pad. For hard-to-clean spots use a soft bristled brush.

In the rare case that your order arrives damaged, please contact us at info@glowinggorilla.com within 48 hours with photos.
